InSystems’ ProAnt transportation robots were awarded as a “Berlin Innovation” by the Technologiestiftung Berlin (Foundation for Technology Berlin). Our products are now displayed on the “automation” category of their website.
proAnt becomes Berlin Innovation
Products may qualify to be called “Berlin Innovation” if they are especially innovative, are developed and produced in Berlin and have acquired good references. Furthermore, they must already be available on the market. InSystems managed to convince the jury of our services and products in each of these requirement categories. Part of the jury are, among others, Dr. Christa Etters of the Institut für Angewandte Forschung (Institute for Applied Research), Dr. Christian Hammel of the Technologiestiftung Berlin (Foundation for Technology Berlin, board of management) and Dr. Petra König of the Industrie und Handelskammer zu Berlin (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Berlin).
The Berlin Innovation platform was created by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises to help promote new and/or innovatively developed Technology to the public.
Automation is trend
InSystems presented itself to the Technologiestiftung with its proAnt Transportation robots and their associated systems. “We emphasized our individualised and wholistic concept of production. Our products are made in Berlin Adlershof and sold worldwide. It is incredibly important to us to turn our clients’ wishes into reality.” explains Torsten Gast, managing director of InSystems.
InSystems was founded in 1999. “The demand for Transportation robots has risen significantly over last few years.”, Gast adds. InSystems’ robots are able to lift and move anything weighing up to 1000kg, are able to adapt and fit into many working environments and can be modified to hand their loads over at various heights.
Among our clients are large and medium production companies coming from industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceutics, printing and the motor industry. What sets InSystems apart is first and foremost the wholistic working process: everything from construction to mechanical engineering, materials handling technology and software is developed and produced by InSystems itself.
