On of the most important elements for our success are our employees. With their know-how, their skills and their talents, they contribute every day to carry forward InSystems’ products in innovation and technology. The Berlin-based company has evolved in 20 years from a mere producer of industrial software to a machine builder and is now a leading manufacturer for customized autonomous transport robots. For this reason, our employees shape the future with their ideas. They realize new products and solutions, which are always technically up-to-date. In the team, we work with flat hierarchies and appreciate personal initiative, authenticity and the will to take responsibility for your own work and towards customers. Every employee is a full member of the InSystems team from the first day.

Open for professional growth

Employees should grow at InSystems Automation, qualify and gain more skills. Therefore we offer internal and external trainings with a view to the relevant needs of the company. These include professional qualifications as trainer, security, data protection or hazardous material officer as well as trainings with certificates in the Solution Partner Programs. Further we offer individual plans with trainings, for example when skills in some programming languages are needed for a project or when a team member wishes a further qualification in order to perform additional tasks. As an example, our non-native German speakers attend German classes at Inhouse, in order to learn quickly the new language. Also, our employees can study in addition to working. As long as their field of study is connected to their individual tasks, InSystems can support them, for instance by paying the tuition fees.

Work-life balance

A good balance between family and work is a main concern of InSystems Automation. Childcare facilities, schools or doctor appointments require often lots of flexibility. InSystems Automation offers its employees trust-based working time and remote work possibilities. Both managing directors have families. They know, which tasks and challenges parents have to meet every day. Therefore InSystems reacts flexibly to changes in the life situation of the team members and supports a change of the working conditions according to the their needs, for example with part-time working arrangements or by reducing the traveling activities.

Employees engagement

The team members built among each others friendships and sport groups (running, cycling and volleyball). They also arranged competitions, where fun and the team spirit come first. For example, some InSystems Automation teams participated to the Berlin corporate run and for the first time last year to the Adlershof volleyball tournament and corporate run. In summer 2019, a mixed team attended for the first time the XTLETIX Challenge, an extreme cross-country race with challenging obstacles, which must be overcome in teamwork. They plan to compete again in 2020.

Further more, we organize periodically events like the yearly bike tour and Summer Party with families, the Christmas Party in our showroom or lunches and barbecues on the occasion of birthdays and other celebrations like Islamic holidays.

Cosmopolitan team

InSystems Automation relies on a creative work environment, a flexible schedule with remote work possibilities and trust-based working hours. We are very proud of our diversity management, of the mix in the age structure and our open interaction with the different nationalities. Currently, all age groups (about 1/3 over 50 years), from the trainee to the retired colleague still working a couple of hours for us, as well as 7 nationalities are represented in our team.
